CLEANSEPT 37+ High-level disinfectant and cold sterilant powder for heat sensitive dental and medical instruments.

CLEANSEPT 37+ is a bactericidal, tuberculocidal, fungicidal, virucidal, and sporicidal disinfectant and sterilant powder to clean, disinfect, and sterilize heat-sensitive medical devices such as endoscopes.

  • The proprietary formula, based on peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, offers an extremely broad effective spectrum. The high-level disinfectant and sterilant is not only effective against methicillin-resistant pathogens, such as MRSA, but also against enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, including, but not limited to, HIV, HBV, HCV, and extremely resistant polioviruses and adenoviruses. The solution further eliminates bacteria including Mycobacterium tuberculosis, fungi, and highly resistant bacterial spores. When using CLEANSEPT 37+, you can be certain that after only 10 minutes, your instruments are sterile. You can use them for any imaginable surgical procedure without further processing.
  • The aldehyde-free cold sterilant concentrate has a neutral pH-value and is not corrosive. Furthermore, the solution does not contain halogens (chlorine). Halogens are highly corrosive whereas aldehydes readily react with human tissue and can result in severe eye, skin, and respiratory irritation and can even cause a range of chronic diseases. CLEANSEPT 37+ is based on peracetic acid which is completely safe at the product's concentration. Peracetic acid can be considered as acetic acid (vinegar) with an extra oxygen atom. Upon release of the oxygen, a vinegar molecule is left behind, making CLEANSEPT 37+ very safe to handle and environmentally friendly.
  • The proprietary formula does not produce boric acid. Boric acid is used by many high level disinfectant manufacturers, including the market leader. In 2009, the European Union released a risk report on boric acid substances which confirmed that boric acid can have a negative effect on fertility and may cause harm to an unborn child. Do not take the risk and make sure that you use a high-level disinfectant that does not contain boric acid.
